In order to work with large corporate customers, it is often necessary to qualify through an approved supplier or contractor programme.
Altius VA are the portal through which companies like OSS Managed Services (Runners Need), Airbus, Hugo Boss, NCP, RoadChef, Superdrug and Travelodge find suppliers of products and services.
Fit Hire are an Assured Vendor within Altius VA having met all of the requirements since 2018.
Qualification requirements include Health and Safety record keeping, Risk Assessments, Anti-slavery rules, COSHH documentation and regular Technical staff training.
Commercial Insurance must include Employer Liability of £10 million, Public & Product liability of £5 million and include cover for mechanical and electrical works in our customer’s premises.
Corporate Social Responsibility documentation is one of the latest requirements, along with proof of substantial Covid-19 monitoring.
By achieving Assured Vendor status with Altius VA, Fit Hire can supply the following services to their many partners:
Hire of fitness equipment including a lease offering
Sales of gym equipment
Servicing of gyms and other outlets with fitness equipment.
One example is the Runners Need stores (linked with Cotswold Outdoor and Snow & Rock) for whom we sell, hire and service all of the in-store treadmills used for gait analysis. They chose Fit Hire for the ability to offer every aspect of supply, maintenance and repair of their equipment.
So, for any potential client we are able to prove our capability to work to a high standard in a commercial setting, creating and maintaining high quality fitness facilities.
In terms of procurement, when a client wishes to purchase fitness equipment via a lease, we offer both finance leases and operating leases.
Our supplier partners include the fitness brands Star Trac, Nautilus, Schwinn, Matrix, Life Fitness, Jordan, BH and Gym Gear.
